  1:22 PM ... Officers investigated an Identity Theft in the 400 blk South C, city.

  1:47 PM ... Officers took a Suspicious Activity report in the 1600 blk North H, city.

  3:29 PM ... Officers invetsigated Violation of a Protection Order in the 700 blk South C, city.   Known subject

  6:59 PM ... Officers investigated a Battery and Assault in the 400 blk S. Washington, city.

  7:20 PM ... One, 12, city, was detained and referred to Juvenile Court.

  8:45 PM ... Melissa L. Stewart, 44, city, was issued a notice to appear for Illegal Registration and Disobeyed Stop Sign.

  9:02 PM ... Officers responded to a Juvenile Problem in the 1000 blk E. 16th, city.

  9:20 PM ... Kurt E. Kerschen, 51, city, was issued a notice to appear for Dog at Large.

Alda is proud to say her life and profession are intertwined. Starting with the Wellington Daily News in the 60's, she has enjoyed many phases of the media world, from hot lead and ticker tape to computerized layouts. Leaving the print media in 2000, Alda walked through the doors of Sumner Cable TV and with Jud MItchell's blessings a visual mini-newspaper on Channel 5 soon emerged. Later, another cable operation, Channel 55 was started. Her first scripted production, "Coaches Corner" was filmed in the kitchen of Cable TV. The staff of six now enjoys a remodeled building with a roomy studio and a variety of shows. Alda said the "R" word isn't in her vocabulary.
